waterfall -One of nature's unique creations
Introduction:
Bangladesh, one of the world's natural
beauty destinations, has several tourist spots, including the Rangamati
district in the Chittagong division. One of the most interesting places in
Rangamati is the Shuvolong Waterfall. This waterfall can only be reached by
water, so tourists use boats to get here. You can reach this fountain in just 5
minutes from Shuvolong Bazaar. The combination of surrounding hills and
waterfalls makes this place one of the most beautiful green lands for tourists.

Nature:
Shuvolong Waterfall/Jharna is located next to
Shuvolong Bazar, just 25 km from Rangamati Sadar. Like all other waterfall in
Bangladesh, Shuvolong waterfall have very little water. During the monsoon
season, a huge stream flows from a hill about 140 feet high into Kaptai Lake.
The beauty of the way to see the Shuvolong Waterfall can make you emotional.
Seeing the lake flowing between the two mountains can be mistaken for Thailand.
The beauty of Shuvolong waterfall fascinates tourists. It is not like to
express in words the wonderful sight of a waterfall cascading down the rocky
ground from the top of a hill. If you want extra clothes, you can take a bath
in the cool water of the fountain and cover your body. Next to the Shuvolong waterfall
is about 2000 feet high Shuvolong hill or TNT hill. There are an army camp and
a TNT tower on the top of the hill. There are excellent stairs to climb the
hill. Seen from the top of the hill, it seems that all the Rangamati districts
are floating on Kaptai Lake.

How to Go:
There are numerous Rangamati buses at Dhaka's Fakirapul junction and
Saidabad. These buses usually leave Dhaka for Rangamati between 8 am and 9 am
and between 8.30 pm and 11 pm. Local and gate lock or direct buses of various modes of transport are
available from Oxygen Junction in Chittagong city. Even if the fare is a little
higher, it is better to go to Gate lock or direct bus. Rent a boat from
Rangamati's Reserve Bazaar to Shuvolong for the day. If you rent it for the whole
day, you can visit other places of interest besides the Shuvolong Waterfall. Here the rent is usually more or
less depending on the size of the boat. A boat can carry 10-15 people. It takes
about 2 hours to reach Shuvolong by boat. There are 7-8 places to visit in
the lake. Take a look around if you have time.
Wherever you stay and eat:
There are no good arrangements for
staying and eating in Shuvolong area. So you have to go back to Rangamati day
by day. Travel with light meals if necessary. If you go to Peda Ting Ting by
boat, you can eat there. Rangamati has a variety of guest houses and
residential hotels. Try to fix a hotel near the lake in the old bus stand and
reserve the market area of Rangamati town. Then you can enjoy the environment
and calm air of Kaptai Lake from the hotel. You can also contact the boarding
board at a low cost. Although the cost of boarding is low, the situation is not
very good.
Other Attraction:
Other places of interest in Rangamati
include: Hanging Bridge, Kaptai Lake, Eco Park, Tribal Museum, Jhum Restaurant,
Tuk Tuk Eco Village, Yamchuk, Nirbanpur Forest Thinking Center, Rajban Bihar,
Traditional Chakma Rajbari, Peda Ting Ting, Upjat Navy Picnic Spot, Rajasthani
Hanging Bridge, Furmon Hills, Sajek Valley, Kattli Beel, Non-Kabachhara

Bangladesh is a nature's paradise. The bounties of nature will mesmerise anybody including tourists. I am find of natural beauties and if per chance I happen to be there that will be considered as one of my lifetime achievement. These places makes one relieved of his social bindings of stress and strain. I personally feel everybody including regular tourists should find out time and resources to visit these places at least once in their lifetime.
